I’m Dayve Ward, a UK-based professional product photographer with a long-established career in commercial photography. Alongside my commissioned work, I pursue personal photographic projects that reflect my lifelong passion for visual storytelling and I also create art monoprints which compliment my artistic vision, many of which you’ll find showcased throughout my website.
This is a space for making and seeing, not for dividing. Photography and traditional art meet here as equal expressions of curiosity, imagination, and craft. Each work, whether formed through light or line, reflects a way of noticing and shaping the world. The medium may change, but the impulse remains the same.
Photography has always been my way of exploring the world. I’m inspired by light, structure, colour, and texture; the subtle details that shape how we see and experience our surroundings. These elements guide every photograph I create, whether I’m working in the studio or out on location.
Monotype printmaking has become another way for me to explore and interpret the world. I’m inspired by texture, layering, movement, and the unexpected details that emerge through the process; the marks, forms, and subtle imperfections that give each piece its own character. These elements guide every print I create, allowing experimentation, discovery, and a balance between intention and spontaneity.
